Will your software run on Microsoft Vista and/or a Tablet machine?
Absolutely. Indeed our systems are designed with the Tablet in mind because of it's ease of drawing and lightweight but sturdy build. Our software is compatible with any version of Windows from Windows XP above including Windows Millennium, Windows 2000/2003 and Windows NT4. We even support the latest Windows 7 operating system.
Will your software run on a MAC?
Our software is compatible with the latest generation MAC machines but please check out further information here.

I don't understand computers. Is Dentists Manager easy to use?
Dentists Manager has been designed with simple-to-use clear screens and an up-to-date, easy to use navigation systems with an automated backup feature to keep your information safe.
Why should I choose you and not someone else?
There are many reasons but here are just a few:- As we are Business Innovation for Equine Dentists specialists we are constantly in touch with the many different professions who work in that field. We ONLY produce equine software and therefore we are not sidetracked into other areas. Our programmers and administration staff are all involved, or have been, in the equine world and know what it is about. We keep ahead of the times and include advancing technology to ensure we stay ahead and provide you with the very latest features.
Other companies offer free software. Why not you?
It is widely thought that free software is a great deal but we do not believe that is the case. We are like any other company and need sales to be able to continue to develop and exist in the competing marketplace. Unless we achieve some form of regular income then how can we continue to provide support and services to our clients? Any free software (or even a donation) cannot guarantee a level of income to sustain the business over a long period. Furthermore, we tend to find that unsupported, free or donation software usually represents one individual supporting the product on a part time basis. Our full time occupation is dveloping software and we guarantee full time support.
Other companies do not provide many updates so their product must be stable and complete
Quite simply, updates show that the product is being supported and also continuing to develop by adding new features. Remember that no two individuals will work the same way and we get many request to customise our products to suit many ways of working. Also, as operating systems continue to develop, updates are required such as Vista and Windows 7. Consider your anti virus software. That is constantly updated to keep up with the latest viruses that are released. Similarly, we provide updates to keep up with the latest technological developments, operating system releases and of course client requests. In our opinion, the lack of updates implies stagnancy in the product.
There are no hidden costs. All bug fixes and email support are free irrespective of the version. You receive free upgrades for 12 months from the date of purchase and free lifetime bug fixes. Updates beyond 12 months are not compulsory and always offered at reasonable prices.
The system seems to cover most of our needs but what if we have some specific requirements?
Send us the details and we will consider them for incorporation in future releases. We are always looking for new features to enhance our products.

I use a different dental chart to that supplied.
That's not a problem. Just send us a copy of your dental chart and we will add that in for you.
What if I want to use 2 computers, one at home and one on the road?
We will be bringing out very shortly a multiple user version which will automatically synchronise the two databases. All you will need to do is to transfer the log file to the other machine and the software will do the rest. Being a 2 way process both machines will always be kept in step. You will also be able to skip transfer of data, such as accounts. i.e. The home machine could run the accounting area without updating the laptop. Even invoicing on both machines will be possible with synchronisation taking place in the evening!
How many clients and horses can I store?
The simple answer is as many as you like. All the data on the system is unlimited and only restricted to the size of your hard drive. In practice this is hardly ever going to be an issue.
I have more than one van and several dentists. What extra do I have to do?
Nothing. The system will cater for as many trimmers and students as you like, even split between vans.
Can I invoice multiple horses?
Yes. When invoicing you will select a client. You will then be shown the horses that client owns. Tick a horse and start invoicing and when ready to invoice another horse simply tick the new horse and continue invoicing. The invoice will separate each horses totals for you together with providing an overall total.
Can I keep track of my students?
Yes. Simply add the student as another dentist and tick the student check box. You can now record details of exams passed, and track their progress using a detailed history record.
