Archived

The Archived buttons are located on various screen throughout the system.  Basically it just means hiding, for example, an old client or a horse that you do not treat anymore.  Although once archived the item does not appear on the screens anymore it will still exist on the system.

So for instance if you have archived a horse because the client has sold it, perhaps the horse has moved to another owner who then becomes one of your clients.  In that instance you may wish to resurrect the record.

In the example below we will archive the horse "Zelda" by going into the horse record:-

We can now see that Zelda has been removed from the list of horses.  However if we now tick the Select Archived we can see that the record is still there and by going back into the record we can tick the Archived box again to unarchive it and Zelda then reappears on the list.
