Cropping the image

Once an image has been loaded, you may decide to select an area of interest and crop that rather than saving the whole image.

 
We recommend that you do any manipulation first before cropping such as zoom, contrast, brightness and other image enhancement techniques.

To crop an image click on the yellow FC triangle icon at the bottom of the screen. You can now select a square or rectangular area to crop. Note that you will be saving the image contained within the selected area and the surrounding image will be removed.

You can resize the selected area and can even move the entire cropping tool. Simply left click inside the wireframe marks and move around the screen.

Once satisfied that the area required is contained within the wireframe area just click save to perform the cropping method. Your cropped image will now be saved and loaded into the Image Manager display area.
